Our family cemeteries are hallowed ground. They hold so many treasured loved ones and our memories of them are brought to mind when we see their markers... again. Here is a list of those buried in the Williams Cemetery "on the hill".

The Bachelor Rolen Cemetery burial list is here. Now Bachelor was a very interesting person who had a stash of cash he buried beside his tombstone before his death, I believe the story goes... and one night after his death, a relative dug it up and left the state with it. This person bought a large farm in Georgia, so the story goes. Oh well, you CAN'T take it with you... someone might as well use it for a good purpose toward the living. THAT's the story I remember hearing, but here is another version on this site about Bachelor Rolen.
The Huff Cemetery is a large and old burial ground. The burial list should be updated as I do not see Burl Williams name listed among the dead and I know he was buried there as I attended his burial - a sad day indeed.
The Proffitt Cemetery holds the body of Joab Rolen.
